Rough Plot Ideas

Plot 1

1. Girls father in deathbed, she mourns, standing by his side, alongside a doctor/medical person who covers his body with white sheet
2. Time skip- girl finds loose, leaves her home and go into a clearing in the middle of the woods
3. She sees something in the corner of her eye
4. She follows in curiosity
5. 'Thing' she saw is revealed, now she is chased by said 'thing'
6. Ambiguous end, is she caught by the 'thing'? Or did she escape?

Plot 2

1. Girl already in field, holding noose
2. Flashback to fathers death
3. Approaches tall tree
4. Hears something behind her, turns around
5. She hallucinates 'random' things, may be relevant to her past. She is afraid, yet curious
6. They become too much for her, she tries to run away
7. She falls/is stopped by something in her path
8. End

• diegetic sound - wind, trees walking
• non-diegetic sound- gloomy, piano, strings (classical)
• no dialogue, enhance eeriness

• foot to head of bed?

• dimly lit?

Flashforward

• focus on feet
• focus on side?
• focus on face?
• track girl

Hallucinations

• 1st - Scarecrow, music stops when focus on it, diegetic, wind blowing
• 2nd - Hooded cult turn to look at girl, implied someone is killed?
• 3rd - Campfire, rotisserie babies?
