Genre

Of course, the main genre of the film must be horror, however we want the subgenre/s to be psychological and gothic as they are a unique combination and enables us to be a bit more creative with our film.

Story

Mental health and suicide will be the main focus of the story. We feel that it is increasingly relevent to people and especially teenagers in the modern world as more people are realising they are suffering from mental illnesses and are not aware of how to deal with it. The message to the audience we want to convey is that running away from your problems and fears may not be the only solution to your situation, that whatever happiness you had can be gained back.

Name
We want a Latin name as it's quite Gothic and almost demonic. We came up with INFERNUM which means 'Hell'.

Plot- initial ideas

• Story focus on a young suicidal woman
• She walks through the woods and 
• She starts hallucinating  as she finds a suitable place to commit suicide
• She tries to run away from the hooded figures she hallucinates
• End ambiguously
