Preliminary Task
For our preliminary task, as a group we had to make a one minute horror video. The preliminary was for us to experience what video/film making is like and to show us what to expect when filming and editing our actual short film.

We had to do the filming in school for this so we took advantage of all the trees and bushes we had at one part of our school. The high angle was shot via a tree where one of us volunteered to climbed up it. Of course in our short film we will have to make risk assessments, nonetheless no one was hurt during the filming of this video.
During editing, we added a grey filter to the clips to darken it and make the film give off a more serious, 'scary' vibe. The background music/sound was subtle and we kept the original audio in some of the clips so that it seemed more realistic. One thing we could improve on is cutting the clips properly so that the film will flow smoothly. For a prelim task, I'm quite happy with it.
